license.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Binance?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Binance<\/a> has been granted a crypto-asset service provider license from the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB).<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/mgRrEpbCSl\">https:\/\/t.co\/mgRrEpbCSl<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Binance (@binance) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/binance\/status\/1503470352340594697?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 14, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Regulatory approval will permit the platform to provide trading, custody and management of digital currencies.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe Bahrain license is an important milestone on our path to full regulation worldwide,\u201d said Binance founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The central bank&#8217;s regulatory approval to operate in the country <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-wins-in-principle-approval-to-operate-as-a-crypto-services-provider-in-bahrain\">in December<\/a> 2021 was granted to the exchange.<\/p>\n<p>Rashid Al-Maraj, governor of the CBB, noted the exchange&#8217;s assistance in developing the regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies.<\/p>\n<p>Binance also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/binance-signs-memorandum-of-understanding-to-explore-acquisition-of-simpaul-investimentos-in-brazil-301501789.html\">signed<\/a> a memorandum of understanding with the Brazilian-regulated securities broker Sim;paul Investimentos with a view to a possible acquisition of the firm.<\/p>\n<p>The potential acquisition was described as \u201ca step toward further development of Brazil&#8217;s cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Closing the deal will require approval from supervisory authorities, including the central bank.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cOn a developing market such as Brazil, cryptocurrencies can improve people&#8217;s lives, so we believe that (in full cooperation with local authorities) we can contribute to the development of the community and the ecosystem,\u201d said Changpeng Zhao.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As reported, Binance <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ftx-secures-licence-in-dubai\">received a license<\/a> as a provider of services in the field of virtual assets in Dubai, alongside the FTX
