As reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/ria.ru\/20220322\/vpn-1779432685.html\">\u00abRIA Novosti\u00bb<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u00abA ban on resources that enable bypassing blocks is possible, but citizens&#8217; responsibility for using such resources will not be imposed\u00bb, he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Alexander Khinshtein, head of the State Duma committee on information policy, information technologies and communications, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.interfax.ru\/digital\/830553\">said<\/a> that the initiative to restrict the use of VPN services is not currently being developed.<\/p>\n<p>Russia has long been grappling with such services. In June last year, Roskomnadzor restricted access to VPN services <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/vpn-blocks-in-russia-german-authorities-press-telegram-for-user-data-and-other-cybersecurity-developments\">VyprVPN and Opera VPN<\/a>, and in September \u2014 to <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/roskomnadzor-blocks-six-vpn-services\">Hola!VPN, ExpressVPN, KeepSolid VPN Unlimited, Nord VPN, Speedify VPN and IPVanish VPN<\/a>. In December the agency announced blocking <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/roskomnadzor-to-curb-six-more-vpn-services\">Betternet, Lantern, X-VPN, Cloudflare WARP, Tachyon VPN and PrivateTunnel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On March 4, Roskomnadzor blocked access to Facebook and Twitter, and from March 14 \u2014 to <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/roskomnadzor-to-restrict-access-to-instagram-in-russia\">Instagram<\/a>.
