The city&#8217;s de facto authorities <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/swiss-lugano-to-permit-bitcoin-and-usdt-payments-within-the-city\">will recognise<\/a> Bitcoin, Tether (USDT) and the LVGA city token as legal tender. <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.finews.com\/news\/english-news\/50685-ticino-lugano-tether-bitcoin-blockchain-funds-startups\\\">Finews<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>Local authorities will earmark 3 million Swiss francs (~$3.21 million) for the same purposes.<\/p>\n<p>The funds will support the integration by businesses of tools related to the initiative into everyday life and local blockchain startups.
