Norwegian company Opera added<\/a> to its browser support for Bitcoin, Solana, Polygon, Celo, Nervos Network, StarkEx, IXO and the Ronin sidechain.<\/p>\n

\u201cUsers gain access to the extensive ecosystem of applications based on Polygon and Solana, as well as to the benefits of Layer 2 networks via StarkWare-based DeversiFi. They can also care for their Axies<\/a>, gaining access to Ronin,\u201d according to Opera’s blog.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The integration of multiple blockchains and Layer-2 solutions<\/a> the developers called a key strategy and part of Opera’s mission to bring millions of users to Web 3.0<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Solana, StarkWare, IXO, Ronin, Nervos, Celo and Bitcoin are currently available only in Opera for Android. Support for them in the crypto browser (Crypto Browser Project) will appear in the coming months.<\/p>\n

\u201cUltimately, Web 3.0 is on the path to becoming a mainstream web technology. Users do not need to know how to interact with it. They need an excellent user experience and real value,\u201d said Jorgen Arnesen, Opera’s vice president of mobile technologies.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In 2018, the firm introduced a Web 3.0-ready browser with an Ethereum wallet built in for Android. Six months later, it released a version for iOS.<\/p>\n

In 2020, Opera became the first of the leading browsers to add support for a decentralized domain thanks to its partnership with Unstoppable Domains.<\/p>\n

In January, the beta version of Opera’s “crypto browser” with built-in Web 3.0 features took place in January<\/a>.<\/p>\n
