In the last nine months, the firm conducted four rounds totaling $230 million.<\/p>\n<p>According to CertiK&#8217;s CEO, Ronhuya Gu, the funds <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2022\/04\/07\/goldman-sachs-joins-other-investors-in-88m-round-for-web3-and-blockchain-security-firm-certik\/\">\u043f\u043e\u0439\u0434\u0443\u0442<\/a> on turning the project into a \u201cuniversal security platform for the entire Web 3.0 world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The startup expects sustained high demand for its services. For January\u2013March, the company&#8217;s revenue rose fourfold, and for 2021 overall by twelvefold. CertiK did not disclose specific figures.<\/p>\n<p>The amount of DeFi ecosystem funds stolen in 2021 amounted to <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/certik-puts-2021-defi-hacks-at-1-3-billion\">$1.3 billion<\/a>. Since the start of 2022 the figure <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/crypto-industry-losses-from-hacks-reach-1-22-billion-so-far-this-year\">has already reached $1.22 billion<\/a> \u2014 as a result of incidents related to <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ronin-the-ethereum-sidechain-hacked-attacker-siphons-625-million\">Ronin Network<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/hackers-drain-more-than-319-million-from-wormhole-cross-chain-bridge-pool\">Wormhole<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/hackers-drain-80-million-from-defi-platform-qubit-finance-pool\">Qubit Finance<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/hacker-siphons-4-3-million-from-meter-cross-chain-bridge\">Meter<\/a>.
