The president of the promoter and organiser of the zone, Honduras Prospera Inc., Joel Bomgar \u043f\u043e\u0434\u0442\u0432\u0435\u0440\u0434\u0438\u043b<\/a> the news onstage at the Bitcoin 2022 conference. He added that investors can place funds in the organisation by purchasing security tokens on the Securitize platform.<\/p>\n

The head of Madeira, the autonomous regional government on the island of Madeira in Portugal, also spoke in favour of legalising the first cryptocurrency. He did not outline concrete plans in this regard.<\/p>\n

In September 2021, the first cryptocurrency became legal tender<\/a> in El Salvador. So far, no other country has followed the example of the Central American state.<\/p>\n
