This is reported by<a href=\\\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/97238\/mexican-billionaire-ricardo-salinas-liquid-portfolio-60-percent-bitcoin\\\"> De\u0441rypt<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the billionaire, the majority of his investment portfolio is allocated to the first cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>&#8220;I definitely do not hold any bonds. I have a liquid portfolio \u2014 60% in Bitcoin and Bitcoin-related equities, and 40% in hard assets such as oil, gas and gold mining,&#8221; said Salinas Pliego.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to<a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com.mx\/millonarios-2021-los-10-personajes-mas-ricos-mexico\/\\\"> Forbes<\/a>, the founder of Grupo Salinas rounds out the top three wealthiest Mexicans. In the ranking<a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/billionaires\/profiles\/ricardo-b-salinas-pliego\/\\\"> Bloomberg<\/a> he is 156th in the world on this measure, with a fortune of $12.7 billion.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2020, Salinas Pliego said<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/mexican-billionaire-allocates-10-of-his-portfolio-to-bitcoin\"> invested 10% of his liquid portfolio in Bitcoin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2021, the billionaire <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/mexican-billionaire-posts-bitcoin-hashtag-on-twitter\">added<\/a> the hashtag of the first cryptocurrency to his Twitter account description.
