{"id":59893,"date":"2022-04-11T10:34:55","date_gmt":"2022-04-11T07:34:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=59893"},"modified":"2025-09-05T00:30:13","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T21:30:13","slug":"binance-wins-approval-to-operate-in-abu-dhabi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/binance-wins-approval-to-operate-in-abu-dhabi\/","title":{"rendered":"Binance wins approval to operate in Abu Dhabi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bitcoin exchange Binance <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adgm.com\/media\/announcements\/binance-awarded-in-principle-approval-for-a-financial-services-permission-from-adgm\">received<\/a> in-principle approval from Abu Dhabi Global Market&#8217;s Financial Services Regulatory Authority (ADGM) to operate as a broker-dealer in virtual assets.<\/p>\n<p>The free zone in the UAE&#8217;s capital adopted a comprehensive regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, the permission to provide financial services in the jurisdiction is part of the exchange&#8217;s bid to establish itself as a fully regulated provider of crypto services.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;ADGM is the largest regulated virtual assets jurisdiction in the <span data-descr=\"Middle East and North Africa\" class=\"old_tooltip\">MENA<\/span> region, and Binance&#8217;s participation will be a plus for its dynamic and reliable ecosystem of venues for trading virtual assets, global exchanges and service providers,&#8221; said Daher bin Daher, CEO of the ADGM Registration Authority.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Earlier the exchange <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-secures-licence-in-dubai\">received a license<\/a> to provide cryptocurrency services in Dubai.
