The Sky Mavis team behind the blockchain game Axie Infinity launched<\/a> a bug-bounty program to search for vulnerabilities in the ecosystem’s security after a hack of more than $600 million.<\/p>\n

The bounty for bugs in the blockchain and smart contracts will range from $1,000 to $1 million, depending on severity.<\/p>\n

For vulnerabilities in the website and app interfaces, the company will pay from $50 to $15,000. The reward also depends on the level of threat.<\/p>\n

Sky Mavis said that extraordinary bug reports will receive an additional bonus.<\/p>\n

Payments under the program will be made in AXS tokens. For the largest payouts, a six-month vesting period applies.<\/p>\n

At the end of March the Ronin sidechain hack<\/a> became known in the game. The hacker withdrew 173,600 ETH and 25.5 million USDC, worth more than $600 million in total.<\/p>\n

Sky Mavis promised to reimburse users for losses<\/a>. In early April, the company raised $150 million<\/a> for these purposes from a group of investors led by Binance.<\/p>\n
