Together with the Seedify.fund project, we explain how to participate in IGOs.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How IGOs Work<\/h2>\n<p>Participants in <span data-descr=\"Initial Coin Offering\" class=\"old_tooltip\">ICO<\/span>, <span data-descr=\"Initial Exchange Offering\" class=\"old_tooltip\">IEO<\/span> and <span data-descr=\"Initial DEX Offering\" class=\"old_tooltip\">IDO<\/span> buy native tokens, which can be used to lower fees and pay for products in the ecosystems of projects.<\/p>\n<p>Purchasing tokens at an IGO is effectively supporting the development of a specific game. Its participants can receive bonuses\u2014in-game items as NFTs.<\/p>\n<p>Seedify.fund is one of the platforms for conducting IGOs. Since its launch on March 26, 2021, it has conducted more than 50 token sales, in which 4,500 investors participated.<\/p>\n<p>The most successful IGOs on Seedify.fund were Bloktopia (BLOK), Cryptomeda (TECH) and Cryowar (CWAR). They attracted $5.2 million, $2.7 million and $3.6 million respectively.<\/p>\n<p>At its peak, Bloktopia&#8217;s token return since the token sale reached <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptorank.io\/ico\/bloktopia\">69 726%<\/a>, Cryptomeda \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptorank.io\/ico\/cryptomeda\">21 566%<\/a>, Cryowar \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptorank.io\/ico\/cryowar\">16 620%<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Participate in a Token Sale<\/h2>\n<p>To participate in an IGO you must register on the Seedify.fund site and complete the <span data-descr=\"Know your customer\" class=\"old_tooltip\">KYC<\/span> verification on the Blockpass platform. This requires:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>provide a passport, ID card, or driver&#8217;s license;<\/li>\n<li>take a selfie;<\/li>\n<li>photograph a document proving your place of residence;<\/li>\n<li>provide the external wallet address you will use on Seedify.fund.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A detailed guide to passing KYC is published in the platform&#8217;s blog.<\/p>\n<p>Users fund the IGO with Seedify.fund&#8217;s native tokens (SFUND). They need to buy them on KuCoin, Gate.io, PancakeSwap or other exchanges, and then withdraw to the wallet specified during registration.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on the distribution method, the investor will receive the tokens at listing, via airdrop, or after submitting a request on the Seedify Claim page.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project Plans<\/h2>\n<p>In February, the Seedify.fund team announced the launch of two platforms: Seedify NFT Launchpad and Seedify NFT Space.<\/p>\n<p>The first will host non-fungible token offerings called INO, and the second \u2014 the trading of these assets. Participation in INO is open only to users with SFUND staked.<\/p>\n<p>The Seedify NFT Launchpad and Seedify NFT Space are planned to launch in April 2022.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Takeaways<\/h2>\n<p>As of the end of 2021, tokens from the GameFi segment <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/report-gamefi-tokens-lead-growth-in-2021\">showed<\/a> impressive momentum. For instance, the returns of Gala and Axie Infinity projects were 28,707% and 16,618% respectively.
