This was reported on the <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.minjust.gov.by\/press\/news\/ministerstvom_yustitsii_opredelen_poryadok_obrashcheniya_vzyskaniya_na_kriptovalyutu_v_ramkakh_ispol\/\\\">site<\/a> of the ministry.<\/p>\n<p>The document was adopted to implement the February <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/belarusian-president-signs-decree-creating-registry-of-bitcoin-wallets\">decree on the creation of a registry of bitcoin wallets<\/a>, used in illicit activity.<\/p>\n<p>The accounting of seized or restrained cryptocurrencies must be carried out by the bodies conducting criminal proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>The April 14 resolution codifies the procedure for seizing cryptocurrencies, including in cases of debtor&#8217;s property confiscation. The procedure also provides for their valuation and sale within enforcement proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018, Belarus enacted the Decree on the Development of the Digital Economy.
