American rapper Snoop Dogg, in collaboration with MOBLAND, will create digital cannabis farms in the project’s metaverse, ForkLog reported.<\/p>\n
MOBLAND aims to become a pioneer in the Grow-and-Earn concept, providing users of the virtual world with a broad range of services for business buildings and land parcels. The project’s metaverse has a mafia-themed setting and is described by the team as “the crypto version of the Mafia Wars video game.”<\/p>\n
The startup is backed by Twitch co-founder Justin Kan, Terra co-founder Do Kwon, Animoca Brands, and other investors.<\/p>\n
As part of the collaboration with Snoop Dogg, metaverse participants will have access to a limited collection of digital cannabis farms as non-fungible tokens and exclusive content from the rapper’s son \u2014 an NFT collector known as ChampMedici.<\/p>\n
According to the musician, he suggested the idea for the release and proposed MOBLAND as a partner.<\/p>\n
\n\\”I’ve spent my life watching my father play video games. Cannabis and joysticks go hand in hand with him. So I think it was an obvious decision to bring together the metaverse and digital weed,\\” said ChampMedici.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
