Tom Emmer, a member of the Blockchain Caucus. In August 2021 he <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/us-congress-urged-to-ease-regulatory-burden-on-some-blockchain-firms\">urged<\/a> shielding crypto companies that do not custody user funds from potentially burdensome regulation.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">In October 2021 Peirce called for the regulator to engage with industry participants to <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/hester-peirce-urges-sec-to-engage-with-the-crypto-industry\">creation<\/a> of a &#8216;sensible regulatory framework&#8217;.
