CEO Tim Alberts noted a &#8216;significantly&#8217; increased interest in digital assets over the past two years.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the unit launched trading of OTC forwards and options, and will now add Bitcoin futures and options to this list. The move became possible after the first trade on the <span data-descr=\\\"Chicago Mercantile Exchange\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">CME<\/span> with market maker Cumberland DRW. The turbulence in the cryptocurrency market did not prevent this.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>According to Alberts, the company plans to broaden trading capabilities on other global markets over time.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>&#8220;We expect that, over time, the sector will mature, become more regulated and, as a result, more attractive to institutional investors.
