The service will be part of the company&#8217;s publicly available beta version of the new App Marketplace \u2014 slated to launch soon.<\/p>\n<p>OpenNode supports Bitcoin payments both on-chain and through<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/lightning-network-faster-cheaper-bitcoin-transactions\"> Lightning Network<\/a>. In February, the Los Angeles-based project&#8217;s team closed a Series A round at<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/opennode-raises-20m-in-series-a-at-a-220m-valuation\"> $20 million<\/a> with a $220 million valuation.<\/p>\n<p>In early 2018, Stripe dropped Bitcoin due to sharp price volatility and long transaction confirmation times.
