And we will consider the matter once we finish the lawsuit with the SEC,&#8221; Garlinghouse said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>For 2021, RippleNet&#8217;s annual gross volume of operations reached<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ripplenets-annual-transaction-volume-hits-15-billion\"> $15 billion<\/a>, in connection with the popularity of the On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) service. The company noted that the Asia-Pacific region has become &#8220;one of the largest participants in the dollar turnover of ODL.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Garlinghouse said that the first-quarter 2022 results were at $8 billion and noted that the company continues to grow largely outside the United States. In March, RippleNet began<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/nab-and-cibc-use-ripple-technology-for-cross-border-payments\"> using for international payments<\/a> National Australia Bank and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce \u2014 two of the largest financial institutions in Australia and Canada, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In May, the fintech company<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ripple-partners-with-lithuanian-money-transfer-provider-finci\"> announced a partnership<\/a> with the Lithuanian provider of online money transfers FINCI.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;I think this is likely to continue until we get clarity and certainty in the United States, which we have been pursuing,&#8221; the head of Ripple stressed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Earlier, Garlinghouse spoke of the <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/brad-garlinghouse-calls-for-clear-regulation-of-the-crypto-industry\">need for clear regulation<\/a> of the crypto industry. He cited Switzerland, Singapore, the United Kingdom and Japan as countries with more favourable regulatory foundations for developing technological innovations.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Garlinghouse expressed optimism about the trajectory of the Ripple-SEC proceedings, anticipating<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/brad-garlinghouse-sees-likelihood-of-sec-dispute-wrapping-up-by-end-2022\"> its completion by the end of 2022<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The partner at the law firm Davis Polk, former SEC official Joseph Hall, said the Commission had <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/former-sec-official-foresees-regulators-defeat-in-ripple-lawsuit\"> high chances of losing the merits of the case<\/a>.
