Musk&#8217;s &#8220;voice&#8221; was made so mechanical that it&#8217;s hard to fully understand his speech.<\/p>\n<p>The billionaire himself also confirmed that the video was a fake.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Ugh. Of course this isn\u2019t me,&#8221; he wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus also commented on the poor quality of the viral video.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Anyone foolish enough to invest in this deserves to lose their money. At the same time, the scammers deserve to spend their life in prison,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In mid-February, YouTube <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/youtube-viewers-lose-1-6-million-in-crypto-on-fake-streams-over-three-days\">lost $1.6 million in cryptocurrencies<\/a> over three days on fake streams. The attackers then edited videos from old appearances of famous figures in the crypto world and entrepreneurs. The most-used images were those of Vitalik Buterin, Elon Musk, Changpeng Zhao and others.<\/p>\n<p>In early April, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.io\/ilon-mask-priobrel-9-2-aktsij-twitter\/\">Musk becomes Twitter&#8217;s largest shareholder<\/a> after acquiring 9.2% of the shares for $2.89 billion.<\/p>\n<p>On April 14, he <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.io\/ilon-mask-predlozhil-svyshe-43-mlrd-za-pokupku-twitter\/\">proposed to buy the social network for more than $43 billion<\/a>, but later <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.io\/ilon-mask-priostanovil-sdelku-po-pokupke-twitter\/\">suspended the deal<\/a> after media reported inflated Twitter audience metrics.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, the businessman remains committed to the purchase.
