Cryptocurrency exchanges Huobi and Bitget have added support for the Velas blockchain token Velas (VLX)<\/a>. This was announced in the project’s blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Listing on Bitget took place on April 8<\/a>, while on Huobi it was on May 18<\/a>. Bitget and Huobi added Velas trading pairs against the Tether (USDT) stablecoin.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are happy to see Velas on some of the safest and fastest-growing cryptocurrency exchanges. Now VLX has become even more accessible for traders,\u201d said Velas CEO Farhad Shagulyamov.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Velas is a blockchain with a hybrid Proof-of-Stake and Proof-of-History consensus algorithm and a network throughput of over 50,000 transactions per second. The blockchain was created by Swiss company Velas Network AG in 2019.<\/p>\n

Velas developers can write smart contracts in C, Rust and Solidity, and can also integrate Ethereum-based projects with minimal modification.<\/p>\n
