According to LunarCrush, spam on the social network has risen about 1,374% over the past two years.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cTwitter turns a blind eye to fake accounts, because this increases the value of the social network,\u201d said LunarCrush CEO Joe Vezzani.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Web3 platforms, such as Lens Protocol or Orbis by Aave, are aiming for as many genuine users as possible to own the asset, he added.<\/p>\n<p>Having announced <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.io\/mark-kyuban-predlozhil-twitter-ispolzovat-dogecoin-dlya-borby-so-spamom\/\">plans to buy Twitter<\/a>, Elon Musk cited fighting spam bots as one of his objectives. Earlier, the entrepreneur <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.io\/ilon-mask-priostanovil-sdelku-po-pokupke-twitter\/\">halted the deal<\/a>, doubting that fake accounts constitute only 5% of the social network\u2019s total users.<\/p>\n<p>According to SparkToro analysts, up to half of Musk\u2019s 95 million followers show signs of being fake.
