Other digital asset service providers may also join the project. <\/p>\n<p>They will act as agents on behalf of each payer intending to cover AFSA&#8217;s regulatory fees using stablecoins. The executor of the operation must convert the cryptocurrency into fiat and deposit the funds into the Authority&#8217;s account.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThis initiative represents the first regulatory framework for payments in \u2018stablecoins\u2019 in the region, demonstrating Kazakhstan&#8217;s ambition to position the AIFC as a hub for digital finance and innovation, while aligning with global trends in stablecoin adoption,\u201d stated AFSA CEO Yevgeniya Bogdanova.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Over 4,000 companies from more than 80 countries are registered with the AIFC.
