In the same month, the company&#8217;s subsidiary <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/huobis-daughter-unit-secures-gibraltar-financial-regulator-license\">received a license<\/a> from the Gibraltar regulator to launch spot trading.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to this, the exchange <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-and-huobi-halt-new-user-registrations-in-mainland-china\">stopped registering new users<\/a> in Mainland China after <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bitcoin-slips-below-42000-as-china-tightens-crypto-trading-regulation\">another wave of crackdowns<\/a> on the cryptocurrency industry.
