Binance.US CEO Brian Shroder explained the initiative as an effort to \u201crevolutionize the approach to trading fees and to increase the accessibility of cryptocurrencies at a time when it is most needed\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives of the platform did not rule out that, in the future, zero fees could be extended to other trading pairs. The platform has listed more than 100 assets.<\/p>\n<p>The move came amid waning client activity in a downturn in the market.<\/p>\n<p>Coinbase shares, a rival platform, opened trading down 7.1%.
