The contract between the firms was terminated on June 14.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>In subsequent posts, Dynamics clarified that Compass&#8217;s energy consumption totaled $1.2 million. The mining company paid only $415,000 and put $250,000 down as a deposit.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThey claim they gave the money, but the funds were used to build out their facilities,\u201d said the hosting firm.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"twitter-tweet\\\" data-lang=\\\"en\\\">\n<p lang=\\\"en\\\" dir=\\\"ltr\\\">For clarity <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/compass_mining?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\\\">@compass_mining<\/a> power consumption <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Dynamics2k?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\\\">@Dynamics2k<\/a> totaled $1.2 million and they only paid $415k and $250k initial power deposits. The hosting provider said it has 12 MW.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>In the hosting agreement between Compass and clients for hosting services, it states that the company may \u201cfrom time to time relocate equipment,\u201d providing \u201creasonably comparable conditions.\u201d The company must notify the user 10 days in advance and give them 5 days to decide.
