Local publication <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.ambito.com\/economia\/criptomonedas\/aduana-detecto-sobrefacturacion-importacion-irregular-y-recupera-us5-millones-n5472954\\\">Ambito<\/a> reports this.<\/p>\n<p>The reason was a price discrepancy. Customs said that for import the equipment was valued at an average of $10,000 per unit, whereas their average cost does not exceed $7,700. <\/p>\n<p>The case concerns 2,233 Whatsminer mining devices with a total value of $21.9 million. The discrepancy between the declared import calculations and the actual cost is about $5 million.
