The musical accompaniment is by composer Howie B.<\/p>\n<p>Manetas chose the Materia platform to issue the tokens. In total, three drops are planned, the first of which began on June 27. According to Manetas, the aim of the NFT collection is not to let people forget about Assange&#8217;s situation, \\&#8221;because many media outlets have stopped covering the case\\&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2012, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has faced U.S. charges of conspiring to obtain and disclose state secrets. He was arrested in London in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>In June 2022, UK Home Secretary Priti Patel approved Assange&#8217;s extradition to the United States, where he faces a 175-year prison sentence.
