She later moved to fintech firm Acorns.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cAs the new addition to our team, Jasmine will help steer Binance.US\u2019s efforts toward an <span data-descr=\"initial public offering\" class=\"old_tooltip\">IPO<\/span> over the next two to three years,\u201d noted Shroder.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to him, Li\u2019s experience at PayPal will be \u201cinvaluable\u201d for the Bitcoin exchange. In the new role she will oversee financial operations, investor relations, and other matters.<\/p>\n<p>Binance.US began operating in the United States in 2019. Shroder <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-us-appoints-new-ceo\">took<\/a> the post of CEO in October 2021. In this role he succeeded the former head of the <span data-descr=\"Office of the Comptroller of the Currency\" class=\"old_tooltip\">OCC<\/span> Brian Brooks, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/media-brian-brooks-leaves-binance-us-amid-clash-with-changpeng-zhao\">having worked at the company for about three months<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Plans by Binance.US to raise financing were <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/media-gemini-and-binance-us-eye-unicorn-status-after-new-funding-rounds\">circulated in September<\/a>. In November, the CEO of the parent company, Changpeng Zhao, disclosed plans <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-us-plans-to-raise-a-couple-hundred-million-dollars-ahead-of-an-ipo\">to raise $200 million for the U.S. arm<\/a> ahead of the exchange\u2019s launch.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2022, Binance.US <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.news\/binance-us-privlekla-200-mln-pri-otsenke-4-5-mlrd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">raised $200 million in a seed round<\/a> at a valuation of $4.5 billion.
