The bulk of the losses \u2014 96.62% \u2014 were tied to hacks.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Four projects accounted for the majority of the quarter&#8217;s damages:<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\\\"wp-block-list\\\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/beanstalk-farms-defi-protocol-loses-181-million-in-hack\">Beanstalk<\/a> \u2014 $181 million;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/hacker-steals-about-100-million-in-harmonys-horizon-cross-chain-bridge-attack\">Harmony<\/a> \u2014 $100 million;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/hacker-drains-90-million-from-mirror-protocol-discovery-seven-months-later\">Mirror Protocol<\/a> \u2014 $90 million;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/rari-capital-loses-80-million-in-hack\">Rari Capital<\/a> \u2014 $80 million.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Immunefi specialists noted that, compared with the same period last year, losses from attackers rose by about one and a half times.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>In the first quarter of 2022, hackers and scammers drained from various protocols <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/crypto-industry-losses-from-hacks-reach-1-22-billion-so-far-this-year\">more than $1.22 billion<\/a>. The largest hacks were Wormhole and Ronin incidents \u2014 $319 million and $625 million respectively.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>In May, the Wormhole team paid through Immunefi <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/wormhole-team-pays-white-hat-hacker-10-million-for-discovered-vulnerability\">$10 million to a white-hat hacker<\/a>, who discovered a critical vulnerability in the protocol. This is the maximum bounty under the project\u2019s bounty program.
