Company representatives told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2022\/07\/21\/blockchaincom-cuts-25-workforce-amid-crypto-bear-market\/\">CoinDesk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The workforce will return to the level seen at the start of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Blockchain.com will close its office in Argentina, pause hiring in the United States and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>Plans to expand into certain countries have been frozen. About a third of global Bitcoin transactions pass through the 83 million wallets opened on the platform.<\/p>\n<p>The company cited the need to compensate for financial losses and adverse market conditions. Blockchain.com continues to generate high revenue, its representatives emphasised.<\/p>\n<p>The moves followed amid <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.news\/smi-blockchain-com-riskuet-poteryat-270-mln-izza-three-arrows-capital\/\">possible losses of $270 million<\/a>, previously lent to hedge fund Three Arrows Capital.
