Each name is a non-fungible token issued on the Polygon network. According to the press release, the service registered 2.5 million names, including in the &#8220;.bitcoin&#8221;, &#8220;.nft&#8221; and &#8220;.dao&#8221; zones.<\/p>\n<blockquote class='wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow'>\n<p>\u201cAs the digital economy becomes a bigger part of our lives, people should own their online identities,\u201d said founder Matthew Gould.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Earlier, the startup raised $4 million from Draper Associates and Tim Draper.<\/p>\n<p>In March 2020, the Opera browser provided access to the provider&#8217;s decentralized web resources. They are built using the Zilliqa blockchain, and site content is stored in IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) and other decentralized networks for data storage.<\/p>\n<p>In the summer, the startup unveiled a beta version of the Unstoppable Chat protocol.
