The company said this in an email, <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.theblock.co\/post\/160148\/celsius-also-hit-by-costumer-io-email-data-breach\\\">The Block<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>Celsius does not regard the breach as posing high risk to users. The company notes, however, that the incident represents a serious breach of the provider\u2013client relationship and has alerted the relevant authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, <a href=\\\"https:\/\/customer.io\/blog\/update-to-compromised-email-addresses-incident\/\\\">Customer.io stated<\/a> that its users&#8217; data were not affected, Celsius said. The service did not disclose their names.<\/p>\n<p>In mid-July, Celsius <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/celsius-files-for-bankruptcy-protection\">filed for bankruptcy<\/a>. Later, the head of the company, Alex Mashinsky, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/celsius-reports-a-1-2-billion-hole-in-its-balance-sheet\">said<\/a> that as of July 13 the platform held assets of $4.3 billion. Its liabilities to customers and creditors stood at $5.5 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The crypto-lending platform <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/celsius-unveils-plan-to-reorganise-the-company-creditors-to-be-paid-from-mining-subsidiarys-profits\">unveiled a plan to reorganise the business<\/a>, centred on a mining subsidiary.
