The first implementation, Leap v3.1, includes:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>subject-based billing;<\/li>\n<li>automatic transaction replay;<\/li>\n<li>the ability to evaluate resources for a transaction without including it in a block;<\/li>\n<li>reduced storage requirements by shrinking block logs and data delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the new network, a set of developer tools is also provided:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CDT \u2014 for deploying smart contracts on Antelope blockchains;<\/li>\n<li>DUNE \u2014 for performing node management functions, composing smart contracts, running tests and other common tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ENF noted that in mid-2021 the EOS-launching Block.one ceased supporting the network. The organisation has taken steps to sustain the project. One initiative was a common Mandel fork codebase, created with the involvement of <span data-descr=\"tech director of Block.one\" class=\"old_tooltip\">Dan Larimer<\/span> and Fractally.<\/p>\n<p>Engineers at ENF continued work on the project. In March the coalition welcomed teams from Telos, Wax and UX Network.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of Antelope was the result of joint development efforts and Mandel&#8217;s rebranding.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Relying on the synergies of pooled network resources, the Antelope release marks a meaningful step toward self-determination for EOS, the coalition, and the project&#8217;s ecosystem as a whole,&#8221; ENF said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Earlier, the organisation sought to recover <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/eos-network-foundation-to-seek-4-1-billion-from-block-one\">$4.1 billion<\/a> from Block.one through the courts.
