{"id":66440,"date":"2022-08-29T17:08:55","date_gmt":"2022-08-29T14:08:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=66440"},"modified":"2025-09-07T01:18:40","modified_gmt":"2025-09-06T22:18:40","slug":"cme-group-launches-euro-denominated-futures-on-bitcoin-and-ethereum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/cme-group-launches-euro-denominated-futures-on-bitcoin-and-ethereum\/","title":{"rendered":"CME Group launches euro-denominated futures on Bitcoin and Ethereum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME Group) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/cme-group-announces-launch-of-euro-denominated-bitcoin-and-ether-futures-301613574.html\">launched<\/a> euro-denominated futures on Bitcoin and Ethereum.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;The launch of these new futures contracts is based on the strong growth and deep liquidity observed in our Bitcoin- and Ether-based products, traded in dollars,&#8221; said Tim McCourt, CME Group&#8217;s head of Equity and FX Products.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The contract sizes for Bitcoin Euro and Ether Euro are 5 BTC and 50 ETH.
