It is also required that 75% of blocks are produced by nodes running the new software version.<\/p>\n<p>Originally, Vasil was planned to activate at the end of June 2022, but the date <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/cardano-team-delays-vasil-hard-fork-to-july\">was moved<\/a> to the following month. In July, the developers <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/cardano-developers-activate-vasil-hard-fork-on-the-testnet\">updated the testnet<\/a> and again <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/cardano-team-postpones-activation-of-the-vasil-hard-fork\">delayed<\/a> the hard fork.<\/p>\n<p>Cardano <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/cardano-edges-bitcoin-in-global-brand-ranking\">ranked 26th<\/a> among 600 global brands in MBLM&#8217;s Brand Intimacy ranking.
