This was reported by <a href=\\\"https:\/\/tass.ru\/ekonomika\/15958951\\\">\u0422\u0410\u0421\u0421<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Aksakov said the ban is necessary to protect non-professional investors.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe number of people involved in cryptocurrencies is sizeable. Unfortunately, many inexperienced individuals fall prey to these networks, so we must regulate all processes,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Alongside a strict ban on bitcoin payments, the official says it may be possible to permit cross-border crypto transactions.
