The remainder of the funds will be deployed into securities in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p>Participants <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-makerdao-mkr-and-the-dai-stablecoin\">MakerDAO<\/a> explained the initiative as an effort to strengthen the project&#8217;s balance sheet with liquid and low-risk traditional assets.<\/p>\n<p>To implement the plan, the project partnered with Monetalis, a DeFi-focused consulting firm.<\/p>\n<p>80% of the allocated amount will be placed in short-term U.S. Treasuries, while the remaining 20% will be invested in corporate bonds.
