{"id":68768,"date":"2022-10-18T17:34:26","date_gmt":"2022-10-18T14:34:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=68768"},"modified":"2025-09-07T15:58:07","modified_gmt":"2025-09-07T12:58:07","slug":"dapper-labs-will-allow-eu-sanctioned-russian-users-to-withdraw-nfts-to-a-non-custodial-blocto-wallet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/dapper-labs-will-allow-eu-sanctioned-russian-users-to-withdraw-nfts-to-a-non-custodial-blocto-wallet\/","title":{"rendered":"Dapper Labs will allow EU-sanctioned Russian users to withdraw NFTs to a non-custodial Blocto wallet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NFT company Dapper Labs<a href=\\\"https:\/\/support.meetdapper.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/5486302427795-Restrictions-Affecting-Collectors-in-Russia\\\"> \u0440\u0430\u0437\u0440\u0435\u0448\u0438\u043b\u0430<\/a> EU-sanctioned users to transfer the NFTs they own to a non-custodial Blocto wallet.<\/p>\n<p>To do this, customers must meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n<ul class=\\\"wp-block-list\\\">\n<li>completing <span data-descr=\\\"Know your customer\\\" class=\\\"old_tooltip\\\">KYC<\/span> verification;<\/li>\n<li>mandatory NFT ownership for at least seven days;<\/li>\n<li>only one token may be sent at a time;<\/li>\n<li>for the NBA Top Shot series, at least 10 Moments are required to remain in the Dapper wallet;<\/li>\n<li>after first connecting to the Blocto wallet, a 24-hour waiting period must elapse.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The company explained that on 7 October<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/dapper-labs-imposes-restrictions-on-russian-linked-user-addresses\"> it imposed restrictions<\/a> on users in Russia in response to a directive from the co-emitter of USDC, Circle. The latter is a partner of Dapper in payment processing and asset custody.<\/p>\n<p>Platform representatives stressed that the rapid response was driven by a prioritisation of community security.<\/p>\n<p>The team is currently working to provide user support in compliance with the law.
