received registration<\/a> from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) as a crypto-asset service provider.<\/p>\n<p>The company has already worked with clients from this country.<\/p>\n<p>The licence will enable it to offer, among other things, spot, custody and staking services in line with CySEC requirements.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, the company obtained approvals from <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-granted-bahrain-crypto-asset-service-provider-licence\">Bahrain<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-secures-permanent-license-to-operate-in-kazakhstan\">Kazakhstan<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-gains-approval-to-operate-in-new-zealand\">New Zealand<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-secures-licence-in-dubai\">Dubai<\/a> and the free financial zone <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-wins-approval-to-operate-in-abu-dhabi\">Abu Dhabi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The platform also announced the launch of a regulated exchange in <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.io\/binance-zapustit-reguliruemuyu-bitkoin-birzhu-v-tailande\/\">Thailand<\/a> and said it would open a client service centre in <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-to-open-customer-service-centre-in-turkey\">Turkey<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bloomberg reports that Binance has applied for a license in Japan, four years after abandoning plans to open a headquarters in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier the exchange had licences from regulators <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-obtains-licence-to-operate-as-a-digital-asset-service-provider-in-spain\">Spain<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-secures-digital-asset-service-provider-license-in-france\">France<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/binance-gains-licence-to-provide-digital-asset-services-in-italy\">Italy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2021, its CEO Changpeng Zhao said he aimed to obtain
