According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2022\/10\/31\/pantera-leads-10m-funding-round-for-starknet-based-crypto-wallet-braavos\/\">CoinDesk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Among other investors: Road Capital, BH Digital, DCVC, Crypto.com, Matrixport, and Starkware.<\/p>\n<p>Based on <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-layer%e2%80%912-solution-in-blockchain\">layer-2<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-starknets-blockchain-and-cryptocurrency\">StarkNet<\/a> for Ethereum scaling, the latest Israeli startup has built its own comprehensive cryptocurrency solution.<\/p>\n<p>The wallet team aims to offer users the ability to self-custody their digital assets, greatly simplifying handling of seed phrases and private keys.<\/p>\n<p>The app is available in both browser and mobile versions for iOS and Android. Braavos combines traditional asset storage and transfer capabilities with access to <span data-descr=\"decentralized applications\" class=\"old_tooltip\">dapps<\/span>. The wallet includes an educational feature Transaction Explainer, which helps novice traders \u201cunderstand and review transactions,\u201d the team noted.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cCryptocurrencies today remain too technical and complex for many users.
