{"id":70518,"date":"2022-11-23T19:35:15","date_gmt":"2022-11-23T17:35:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=70518"},"modified":"2025-09-08T02:42:53","modified_gmt":"2025-09-07T23:42:53","slug":"rockstar-games-bans-nft-integration-in-gta-mods","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/rockstar-games-bans-nft-integration-in-gta-mods\/","title":{"rendered":"Rockstar Games bans NFT integration in GTA mods"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rockstar Games <a href=\\\"https:\/\/support.rockstargames.com\/articles\/11374598771091\/Roleplay-RP-Servers\\\">opposed<\/a> the integration of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and other digital assets on third-party servers of its Grand Theft Auto series.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The company also banned the creation of new missions, maps, or stories based on GTA, improper use of intellectual property, sale of virtual currency and \u201cloot boxes\u201d for real money.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Despite the restrictions, Rockstar Games has shown a permissive stance toward GTA RP servers, but reserves the right to take action against any third-party project based on the game.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>The studio did not disclose what measures would be applied to rule-breakers.
