According to <a href=\\\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/dogecoin\\\">CoinGecko<\/a>, the meme cryptocurrency rose 22% over the past week and ranked eighth by market capitalization, with a market cap of $13 billion.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Although Musk&#8217;s post did not directly mention Dogecoin, some investors may have anticipated the asset&#8217;s integration as a method of payment on Twitter. The billionaire <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/elon-musk-proposes-paying-for-twitter-blue-with-dogecoin\">made<\/a> a corresponding proposal back in April.<\/p>\n<p>\\n\\n<\/p>\n<p>Investors&#8217; speculation may have been fueled by an empty field next to the Payments section on one of the slides.
