I met his father, a Stanford professor, and with his aunt I participated with Kevin O\u2019Leary in a charitable project in Florida. I felt close to him and his family&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In September 2022, FTX <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ftx-ventures-to-acquire-a-stake-in-skybridge-capital\">acquired 30% of SkyBridge<\/a>. In November the exchange and about a hundred affiliated entities <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/ftx-group-files-for-bankruptcy-sam-bankman-fried-resigns-as-ceo\">filed for bankruptcy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>US prosecutors <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/us-court-unveils-charges-against-sam-bankman-fried\">brought eight criminal charges against SBF, including fraud, money laundering and campaign-finance violations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In December, the founder of FTX <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bahamas-authorities-arrest-ftx-founder-sam-bankman-fried\">was arrested<\/a> in the Bahamas and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/media-reports-sam-bankman-fried-agrees-to-extradition-to-the-united-states\">extradited<\/a> to the United States. A New York court <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/court-grants-250m-bail-for-sam-bankman-fried\">released him on bail of $250 million<\/a>, SBF <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/sam-bankman-fried-refuses-to-plead-guilty-trial-set-for-october\">pleaded not guilty to all counts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Scaramucci immediately warned the audience that he would not discuss financial losses.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;I must tell you that betrayal and fraud are bad on many levels. Of course, it has damaged my reputation. If anyone here has read Dante, you know what the ninth circle of Hell is for \u2014 betraying a friend,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>At the same time, the SkyBridge co-founder stressed that SBF&#8217;s actions should be separated from the blockchain and cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;We are trying to create a decentralized environment where you do not have to like or trust each other.
