The project was made possible through a partnership between Filecoin and the American aerospace technology firm developing a decentralized storage system for the space industry.<\/p>\n<p>The pilot launch after Lockheed Martin reaches orbit will be a demonstration. The test will show possible uses for decentralized storage in space.
