Revenue from intelligent cloud computing grew 18% year over year. Revenue from server products rose 20%, and from Azure and other cloud services \u2014 31%.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>\u201cOnly the Azure ML revenue grew by more than 100% for five straight quarters,\u201d Nadella said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The head of the company also spoke about the popularity of the code-generation service GitHub Copilot. According to him, the tool&#8217;s user base rose to 1 million users.<\/p>\n<p>Other segments posted the expected decline. Revenue from Windows OEM licenses fell by 39%. The company attributed this to the continuing weakness of the PC market.<\/p>\n<p>Revenue from devices, which now include the mixed-reality HoloLens headsets, Surface computers and accessories, also fell by 39%.<\/p>\n<p>The company expects that the revenue drop in these two categories will continue in the next reporting period.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft&#8217;s gaming division revenues declined by 13%.<\/p>\n<p>Revenue from Office commercial products rose 7%, and from Office 365 \u2014 11%. The company said the number of subscribers grew by 12%, reaching 63.2 million in total.<\/p>\n<p>In other countries, LinkedIn revenue rose 10% year over year, and revenue from search and news advertising also grew by 10%.<\/p>\n<p>In January, Microsoft <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/microsoft-to-lay-off-10000-employees\">announced the layoff of 10,000 employees<\/a> due to worsening economic conditions.<\/p>\n<p>A few days later, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/microsoft-and-openai-seal-multi-billion-dollar-deal\">announced a partnership with OpenAI<\/a>.
