{"id":73682,"date":"2023-02-06T18:06:16","date_gmt":"2023-02-06T16:06:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=73682"},"modified":"2025-09-09T15:35:03","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T12:35:03","slug":"starkware-announces-partnership-with-chainlink","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/starkware-announces-partnership-with-chainlink\/","title":{"rendered":"StarkWare announces partnership with Chainlink"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Israeli startup StarkWare <a href=\\\"https:\/\/starkware.medium.com\/starknet-joins-chainlink-labs-in-developer-partnership-to-accelerate-starknet-adoption-84cc9c754c9\\\">expanded<\/a> its collaboration with the Chainlink decentralized oracle network to accelerate the deployment of its L2 solution <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-are-starknets-blockchain-and-cryptocurrency\">StarkNet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Price feeds from <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-chainlink-link\">Chainlink<\/a> are already being used on the project&#8217;s testnet. The integration of oracles into the mainnet is expected in the coming months as part of the partnership.<\/p>\n<p>StarkNet will also join the Chainlink SCALE program. As part of the initiative, StarkNet tokens will be usable to pay for certain data and services from the oracle provider.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cUltimately we are glad to build a sustainable system in which Chainlink and StarkWare have joined forces to broaden application development in StarkNet over the long term,\u201d the startup said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ohad Barta, StarkWare&#8217;s Product Manager, told <a href=\\\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/chainlink-oracle-data-feeds-coming-to-starknet-ecosystem\\\">Cointelegraph<\/a> that work on the StarkNet integration has been under way since June 2022. He said that Chainlink\u2019s reputation in the Ethereum ecosystem was one of the key reasons for the partnership.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cThe main advantage is that any application or startup can integrate with Chainlink\u2019s price feeds and be confident that they will be accurate when they build their product,\u201d he stressed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>StarkWare also announced the open-sourcing of a key component of the network\u2014the StarkNet Prover.
