{"id":73694,"date":"2023-02-07T10:05:07","date_gmt":"2023-02-07T08:05:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/?p=73694"},"modified":"2025-09-09T15:39:22","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T12:39:22","slug":"media-revolut-to-add-cryptocurrency-staking-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/media-revolut-to-add-cryptocurrency-staking-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Media: Revolut to add cryptocurrency staking support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The fintech company Revolut this week will offer customers in the United Kingdom and the European Union the ability <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-staking-and-how-to-make-money-from-it\">to stake<\/a> Ethereum, Tezos, Cardano and Polkadot. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altfi.com\/article\/10372_revolut-is-launching-crypto-staking-for-25-million-users-for-dot-xtz-ada-eth\"> AltFi<\/a> reports this.<\/p>\n<p>Staking yields will vary from 2.99% to 11.65%.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2022, as part of its strategy to become a super app, Revolut announced <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/revolut-to-develop-a-crypto-wallet-and-add-staking\">development of a crypto wallet<\/a> and the accompanying functionality.<\/p>\n<p>Launch after beta testing began<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.io\/robinhood-rasshiril-testirovanie-kriptokoshelka-i-anonsiroval-podderzhku-lightning-network\/\"> was planned for 2022<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In August, the company announced<a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/revolut-to-expand-its-crypto-team-by-20\">expansion of the headcount<\/a> of the digital assets team by 20%.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in September, Revolut <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/revolut-expands-the-range-of-crypto-assets-offered-to-us-customers\">increased<\/a> the number of supported cryptocurrencies for US customers.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, founder Nikolay Storonsky spoke about <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/revolut-founder-outlines-plans-to-launch-its-own-token\">to launch his own token<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The fintech company Revolut this week will offer customers in the United Kingdom and the European Union the ability to stake Ethereum, Tezos, Cardano and Polkadot.
