The first shows traditional search results and an AI annotation on the right side of the screen. Data: Microsoft.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to the announcement, Bing&#8217;s AI features run on OpenAI&#8217;s next-generation language model. It is more powerful than the one used in ChatGPT, and tailored specifically for search.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The model builds on the core knowledge and achievements of ChatGPT and GPT-3.5; it has become even faster, more accurate and more efficient, the press release says.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The company has also updated the main Bing search engine by integrating AI algorithms. As a result, the answers in the search results will be more precise and relevant, developers say.<\/p>\n<p>Smart search will also be available in the Microsoft Edge browser. Data: Microsoft.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In response to questions about the chatbot&#8217;s knowledge currency, Microsoft representatives said users would be &#8216;pleasantly surprised&#8217; by the search engine&#8217;s capabilities. As is known, the base version of ChatGPT is limited to data up to 2021.<\/p>\n<p>According to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, the search paradigm had not changed for decades. AI will take it to a completely new level, delivering information much faster, he added.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;The race starts today.
