The already launched testnet solution interacts with the <span data-descr=\"Ethereum Virtual Machine, the Ethereum virtual machine\" class=\"old_tooltip\">EVM<\/span>, enabling cross-chain bridges and ensuring compatibility with <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-a-layer%e2%80%912-solution-in-blockchain\">L2 protocols<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Despite FIL\u2019s price rise, the cryptocurrency\u2019s price remains well below its all-time high; in April 2021 the coin traded above $236.<\/p>\n<p>In January, the Filecoin Foundation <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/filecoin-foundation-to-test-ipfs-connectivity-in-space\">announced<\/a> plans to launch a decentralised file system in space.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the past seven days the price of Filecoin (FIL) has risen by 50%.
