According to the publication, since February 17 it has been downloaded about 2,000 times.<\/p>\n<p>Dorsey <a href=\\\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jack\/status\/1204766078468911106?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1204766078468911106%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fforklog.com%2Fdzhek-dorsi-voshel-v-sovet-direktorov-bluesky-pbllc%2F\\\">announced<\/a> the project of a decentralized social-media platform in 2019. In February 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/jack-dorsey-joins-bluesky-pbllc-board-of-directors\">appeared<\/a> organization Bluesky PBLLC.<\/p>\n<p>In April, after Twitter&#8217;s leadership <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/elon-musk-to-buy-twitter-for-44-billion-as-dogecoin-jumps-24\">decided to sell the social network<\/a> to Elon Musk, the project <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bluesky-project-underscores-independence-from-twitter\">reminded others of its independence<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In May, developers <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bluesky-publishes-protocol-code-for-a-decentralised-twitter\">published<\/a> the first part of the open-source code for the Authenticated Data eXperiment protocol. Data: TechCrunch.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>TechCrunch noted that the Bluesky team regards the protocol as the main product, and that the app is meant to demonstrate its capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>In July 2021, the DeFi platform Aave announced the creation of <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/aave-to-build-an-ethereum-based-twitter-alternative\">an Ethereum-based alternative to Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In February 2022, developers <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/aave-team-develops-protocol-for-web-3-0-social-networks\">introduced Lens Protocol<\/a>, designed to simplify the creation of social Web3 platforms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bluesky, a decentralised alternative to Twitter backed by co-founder and former CEO of the social network Jack Dorsey, has landed in the iOS App Store.
