Data from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coingecko.com\/en\/coins\/binance-usd\">CoinGecko<\/a> show this.<\/p>\n<p>As of writing, the figure stood at $9.7 billion.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Snimok-ekrana-2023-03-03-v-10.23.39.webp\" alt=\"Snimok-ekrana-2023-03-03-v-10.23.39\" class=\"wp-image-199460\"\/><figcaption>Data: CoinGecko.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In the ranking among stablecoins, BUSD ranks third behind <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-tether-usdt\">USDT<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/what-is-the-usdc-stablecoin\">USDC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Snimok-ekrana-2023-03-03-v-10.21.09.webp\" alt=\"Snimok-ekrana-2023-03-03-v-10.21.09\" class=\"wp-image-199461\"\/><figcaption>Data: CoinGecko.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In February, the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/bloomberg-new-york-regulator-opens-investigation-into-paxos\">initiated an investigation<\/a> into the issuer of Binance USD, Paxos.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, its representatives said they would suspend the release of new coins in line with regulator requirements and severed cooperation with Binance regarding the stablecoin.
