Yet after the chatbot&#8217;s deployment, the search engine attracted users who had never previously tried it.<\/p>\n<p>Mehdi noted that a third of active users are unfamiliar with the service.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\\\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\\\">\n<p>We view the growing popularity of the new Bing as evidence of our belief in the need to rethink search and the value of combining search, answers, chat, and creation in a single interface,&#8221; said the vice president.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the statement, about a third of users launch the chat mode daily. On average, three messages are sent per session.<\/p>\n<p>Since launch, 45 million sessions have been opened. 15% of all chats were used to create new content.<\/p>\n<p>The mobile launch also helped Bing reach a new level of popularity and led to a sixfold increase in users.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Microsoft recorded growth in traditional search activity. The company attributes this to Edge and the deployment of the Prometheus AI model, which improves ranking in results.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Microsoft again raised the limits for Bing chat mode. On the same day the service became available to a limited number of testers on the waitlist.<\/p>\n<p>A week later, users <a href=\"https:\/\/forklog.com\/en\/news\/microsoft-explains-unusual-ai-behaviour-in-bing-chat\">complained about strange behavior<\/a> of Bing chat.
